Young Reporters for the Environment Submitted Their Applications

Artvin Çoruh University participated in the international environmental journalism competition, "Young Reporters for Environment Competition," through the "Young Reporters of Environment" program, presenting a total of seven distinct projects. Among these, one group composed of İlayda Özdemir, Bilge Uysal, Elif Sekendiz, and Sibel Solak submitted an article titled "Protect the Green" alongside a photograph named "The Last Olive Tree." Another team, comprising Gül Bahriye Güngör, Emre Yılmaz, Ayşenur Kaya, Merve Ece Esas, and Sudenur Bayram, contributed with their article named "The Importance of Recycling and Its Impact on the Environment: A Case Study from Artvin" Turkey. Additionally, Şükran Oğuz and Gülizar Gözgü presented an article titled "The Big Poison We Perceive as Small" paired with a photograph titled "The Life of A Living Being is Between Your Two Fingers." Lastly, Yağmur Akçiçek, Zeynep Çetinkaya, Buse Nur Şahan, and Atilla Akata explored the question "Who is the Real Monster?" through a video presentation and an interview with an official from a recycling company in Artvin. Dr. Hakan Gültekin, Director of the Foreign Relations Application and Research Center, along with Research Assistant Esra Ateş, provided guidance to the participating students throughout their project endeavors.
