Project Summary

Project Summary:

The project aimed to develop an environmental education program and, through this, to raise environmental awareness among young people from all backgrounds, primarily students. In line with this objective, an environmental education toolkit was created, along with complementary components, to draw young people's attention to environmental issues. Within the scope of the project activities, university students examined and analysed environmental problems and developed solutions.

The project had a multidimensional and experienced partnership structure consisting of universities, private companies, youth associations, and non-governmental organisations. With contributions from both local and international partners, workshops, international study visits, and an international conference were organised to acquire and analyse best practices. In this context, stakeholders from different countries and disciplines came together, shared their knowledge and experiences, and developed intellectual outputs aimed at joint solutions.

The project lasted 36 months and progressed within the framework of a strong sustainability plan. In line with this plan, online training sessions and meetings were held. The content and frequency of the online seminars were systematically planned through digital platforms, and details such as how these seminars would be organised, who would be responsible, and who would participate were clearly defined. In addition, annual organisational plans were prepared for each partner to ensure the continuation of similar activities, especially those targeting young people.

Annual reporting activities were carried out by all partners to support the development of intellectual outputs. The technical, organisational, and academic structure of the project was monitored by the Erasmus+ Coordination Office of Artvin Çoruh University. Technical aspects such as meeting organisation, mobility, budget management, and hosting national and international guests were managed by the Erasmus+ Coordination Office in cooperation with the General Secretariat, in line with the project timeline. Academic outputs were implemented in collaboration with the faculties to which the project members were affiliated.
