1. Specific Objectives of the Work Package

The primary goal of this work package is to disseminate environmental education to a broad youth audience by utilizing digital and innovative media tools.

  • Raising Environmental Awareness: Creating infographics, videos, and news content to increase the level of environmental consciousness among young people.

  • Effective Use of Digital Tools: Placing "New Media" tools (social media, websites) at the center of the process, as they are the most effective channels to reach the target group.

  • Promoting Environmental Journalism: Increasing the visibility of environmental issues through informative media content.

2. Contribution to General Project Objectives

Work Package 2 directly serves the project's goals of "global awareness" and "sustainable impact":

  • Accessibility: It enhances the project's inclusivity by contacting the main target group (youth) through the digital platforms where they are most active.

  • Sustainability: It ensures that the awareness-raising model continues through youth organizations and related entities even after the project's completion.

  • Dissemination: It takes the project outputs beyond local implementation areas and carries them to an international level.

3. Main Results and Outputs

The tangible results to be achieved at the end of this work package are as follows:

  • The Green Book: The main publication compiling project results and data regarding environmental education.

  • Digital Platform Dissemination: Content to be published on the Artvin Coruh University (ACU) website, the official project website, and the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform (EPRP).

  • Academic Visibility: An article in a peer-reviewed journal or a proceeding paper to be presented at an International Conference, based on the project’s findings.

  • Multimedia Content: Social media posts, videos, and informative infographics designed to increase engagement among youth.

4. Dissemination and Impact

The project aims for a "snowball effect" in awareness by encouraging communication and dialogue among youth groups during and after the implementation phase. In this way, the project's environmental vision will not be limited to specific locations but will reach a global scale through youth networks.
